"Vieirarpad" is a documentary based on the correspondence between Maria Helena Vieira da Silva and Arpad Szenes between 1932 and 1961. The letters and the intimacy of the word are the pretext for exploring an intimate visuality, where the memory of the 20th century, a century of exile, is articulated with the plastic work of Vieira and Arpad, with iconographic elements from their lives and audiovisual archives from different eras and geographies, as well as various relevant testimonies.
